Monster Hunter Freedom Unite weird glitch help?
Okay me and a friend finally started guild quests togethter. but we noticed all of the lesser monsters like giaprey, genprey, or any monster that isn't a "boss" (rathian, yian kut ku, etc) isn't synced up. Like he will be hitting one on his psp but on my screen he is hitting thin air and the real monsters on my screen are on the other side of the area or are fighting somewhere else, or vice versa, it will happen to both of our psp's. Also about the 3rd or 4th boss quest we did we noticed that the boss will pop on the map with a paintball, BEFORE we have even encountered it! sometimes it will stay on the map and show its location for 10-30 sec then dissapear. Other times more or less time, what is wrong with our games, because it happens to both of our games.
The first one about the monsters that are not synced, is due to them trying to make the game run more efficiently, i hate it and it does get annoying but there is no way to fix it, hopefully its fixed with portable 3rd.
And the reason the monster shows up on the map like that is because on of your armor sets must have the tracking ability on them PSY+ i think. Which means that every five minutes or so it will show up on the map without the need for paint-balling. If you increase your armor skills with decorations and increase the PSY+ ability then you wont need to paintball the monsters at all =]. Hope this helps.
P.s Your Fyline friend on single player can also learn Clairvoyance which has the same effect as the armor skill, (shows the monsters location every 5 mins.)
